I am proud that my research titled ((Miscarriage and Oxidative Stress of Iron Supplementation During Pregnancy)) recently published in the great global journal of medical research volume 16 issue 2 version 1 year 2016 .Indeed that Sat, Aug 6, 2016 at 5:03 PM was a very happy moment in my life when I saw my article included in this very famous journal . The research take about one year to be completed the sample collection was time consuming step other investigations was easy and need less effort . I was very busy before this research with studying the oxidative stress in asthmatic patients and I was planning to study the effects of some drugs on rheumatoid arthritis. These drugs were natural and purified in USA but unexpectedly one of my friends , a nice lady , told me that she use the iron as a routine supplement to any pregnant women without any assessment to iron status in these women . I was surprised by this information and when I asked other physicians about that nearly all of them emphasized that iron should be given to all pregnant women despite they are non- deficient with iron, that makes me eager to investigate the role of iron as a transition metal during pregnancy and measure the oxidative stress during first and second trimester of gestation. As a future work I would like to investigate the iron levels in the bodies of the aborted embryos to make a good link between the iron levels in mothers and their babies. Really my publishing experience with Global Journals was very nice they were very cooperative and helpful . now I am the vice chancellor for administrative affairs in Jabir Ibn Hayyan medical university in Najaf – Iraq.
